Our Promise The Store Materials Our Story Get in Touch
Nagpur · Dewaan Layout · Family-Run Since the Beginning

घर, फक्त भिंती नाहीत
A home is more than walls.

The first house a young couple builds together. The room added for a parent's comfort. The kitchen where festivals will be cooked for decades. These are not construction projects — they're where your family's story gets written.

We've spent years choosing materials the way you'd choose them for your own home: plywood that won't warp by the time your children grow up, surfaces that age gracefully, doors that will still close softly twenty years from now. Because what goes into your walls becomes part of your life.

What We Believe

Three Things We Promise Every Family

Not slogans — the actual standard we hold ourselves to, with every sheet of plywood that leaves our store.

आधार

The Foundation

A house stands on its foundation, but a home stands on what's inside its walls. We choose materials the way we'd choose for our own families — because the cabinet that holds your child's first drawings, or the door to a newlywed couple's room, deserves to be built right the first time.

विश्वास

The Trust

When you can't inspect every sheet of plywood yourself, you're trusting us to do it for you. That trust is the actual product we sell. We'd rather lose a sale than sell you something that won't hold up — because we'll likely see you again, for your daughter's wedding renovation or your next home.

वारसा

The Legacy

Good wood gets better with age — it's one of the few materials that does. The wardrobe you build today could be the one your grandchildren open. That's not sentimentality; it's simply what honest material, properly chosen, allows for. We want to be part of that.

What Goes Into Your Home

Four Materials.
One Standard.

Behind every finished surface is a choice — about grade, about source, about whether it'll still be good in fifteen years. We make that choice carefully, every time, for every category we stock.

Mica Laminates

"The face your family will see every day."

500+ designs — warm wood grains for a traditional kitchen, soft solids for a modern bedroom, marble finishes for a festive living room. Scratch and heat resistant, chosen to suit how your family actually lives.

Flush Doors

"The first thing they touch, coming home."

Solid and hollow core, for every room — the main door that welcomes guests on Diwali, the bedroom door that closes quietly at night. Plain, laminated, or veneer-finished.

Hardware & Fittings

"The small things that make daily life smooth."

Hinges that don't sag after a year, channels that glide quietly, handles that feel right in the hand. Edge beading and profiles for that last, finishing touch.

Our Story

A Family Business, Built Like Our Plywood — to Last

Shree Gajanan Plywood & Hardware started the way most things worth keeping do — small, careful, and personal. We named it after Gajanan, the remover of obstacles — fitting, because that's what we hope to be for every family that walks in: one less thing to worry about when building or renovating a home.

Over the years, we've watched the same families come back — first for a one-room kitchen, years later for their daughter's bedroom before her wedding, and again when a grandparent moved in and needed a ground-floor room redone. Each time, the relationship made the project easier. That's the kind of store we want to be: not the cheapest you'll find, but the one you trust enough to not have to think twice.

Today we stock everything from structural plywood to the smallest cabinet hinge — but the way we choose each one hasn't changed. If it's not good enough for our own homes, it doesn't go on our shelves.

In Their Words

Families We've Had the Privilege to Serve

Real words from people who let us be part of their homes.

We came in for our son's wedding renovation — new wardrobes, a fresh kitchen. They didn't just sell us plywood, they sat with us and explained what would actually hold up. Three years on, everything still looks new.

My father insisted on visiting the store himself before our home renovation, even at 75. He said he wanted to "see the wood with his own eyes." They spent an hour with him. That's the kind of respect that's rare now.

As a contractor, I've worked with many suppliers. What's different here is they remember your projects — they ask how the family is settling in, months after delivery. That kind of care shows in how they treat the material too.

Questions, Answered

Before You Visit

The things families usually ask us, before they ask us in person.

We're building our first home. Where do we even start?
+
Start with a conversation, not a shopping list. Tell us about the rooms, the people who'll live in them, and your budget — and we'll walk you through what actually matters versus what's optional. Most first-time homeowners over-spend on things that don't matter and under-spend on the foundation (plywood grade) that does. We'll help you get that balance right.
What's the difference between BWP and MR plywood, in plain terms?
+
BWP (IS:710) is for anywhere water might reach — kitchens, bathrooms, even balconies. It's made with waterproof adhesive and won't delaminate if it gets wet. MR (IS:303) handles occasional dampness but is meant for dry rooms — bedrooms, wardrobes, study furniture. Using BWP everywhere isn't wrong, just more expensive than needed; using MR in a kitchen is the mistake we try to help families avoid.
Can we bring our interior designer or contractor along?
+
Please do. We work with designers and contractors regularly, and having everyone aligned on material choices early saves time and money later. We're happy to discuss specs directly with them, or with you — whatever's easiest for your project.
Do you deliver, and how does payment work?
+
Yes — we deliver across Nagpur, with delivery often included for larger orders. We accept UPI, bank transfer, cash, and cheque, and issue a proper GST invoice for every purchase. For larger renovation projects, we're also happy to discuss phased delivery as your work progresses.
What if something isn't right when it arrives?
+
Tell us immediately. If a product doesn't match what was ordered, or arrives damaged, we replace it — no arguments. We've built this business on being the kind of store people come back to for their next home, and the one after that. That only works if we make things right the first time something goes wrong.
